Demi Moore Heads To Hawaii – Media Roundup

Demi Moore heads to Hawaii - shankbone pictureNumerous media reports have Demi Moore heading to Hawaii to recover from the end of her six-year marriage to Aston Kutcher.

Here’s a roundup of the coverage of the Demi Moore Heads To Hawaii story so far.  At the bottom of the article, I’ll give you a quick peek into Demi’s show business history.

The Mirror

reports that a "fragile" Moore spent the last few days throwing Kutcher’s possessions out of their Beverly Hills home while he’s been staying at the Mondrian Hotel. And now she has left for a week of "soul-searching."

TMZ is reporting

that Kutcher was trying to win Moore back with a new car for her Nov. 11 birthday. The site says he bought a 2012 Lexus LS 600h L, paying more than $100,000. It’s not clear whether she kept it or it’s back in the showroom.

TMZ also caught up with Brittney Jones, who claims that Kutcher told her he had an open marriage

The Daily Mail

says the two signed a prenup in 2005 at her insistence.

But he is clearly making more money at this point. A Forbesanalyst puts her 2011 earnings in the $5 million range. But Kutcher has made an estimated $7 million from Two and a Half Men alone this year, says E!, not counting his endorsement deals.

People magazine’s cover story

this week, quoting a source as saying "the marriage had been deteriorating for a long time," puts the couple’s worth at $290 million.

Here’s a quick peek at Demi Moore’s personal life

Marriages and children

In 1980, at the age of 18, she married singer Freddy Moore, adopting his surname.[15] The marriage ended in 1984.[16]

In 1987, Moore met and married her second husband, actor Bruce Willis.[17] They had three daughters together: Rumer Glenn Willis (born August 16, 1988), Scout LaRue Willis (born July 20, 1991), and Tallulah Belle Willis (born February 3, 1994).[17] Moore and Willis divorced in 2000.[17]

After two years of dating, Moore wed actor Ashton Kutcher on September 24, 2005.[16] On November 17, 2011, Moore released a statement announcing her intention to divorce Kutcher.[18] The announcement followed weeks of media speculation about the state of the couple’s marriage due to his alleged cheating.[19]

Interests

Moore’s primary residence is in Hailey, Idaho, near the Sun Valley resort, although she spent much time in the Los Angeles area during her marriage to Kutcher. She also owns a waterfront mansion on Sebago Lake, Maine. She is a practicing follower ofPhilip Berg‘s Kabbalah Centre religion, and initiated Kutcher into the faith, having said that she "didn’t grow up Jewish, but … would say that [she has] been more exposed to the deeper meanings of particular rituals than any of [her] friends that did".[20]Contrary to popular belief, Moore claims she has never been a raw foodist and dispelled the vegan rumors by eating a hamburgerin a recent Mario Testino photo shoot.[21]

According to The New York Times, Moore is "the world’s most high-profile doll collector", and among her favorites is the Gene Marshall fashion doll.[22]

She is an active Democrat and a Barack Obama supporter.

Did you know that Demi Moore was a doll collector?  I didn’t … but finding that out makes me like her even more!

I think Demi Moore heading to Hawaii to heal her heart is a wonderful idea.  Our islands truly have a healing energy.

Aloha, Demi… Aloha nui loa
