2012 Diners’ Choice Award’s Hawaiian Restaurants

Sixteen of Hawaii’s famous places to dine landed in the Top-100 of the 2012 Diners’ Choice Award’s Hawaiian Restaurants, annual event. I for one know there are many fine places on our islands and as they say: Wine and Dine! Well 16 of these fabulous places just happen to be winners in this year’s award.

Sixteen Hawaii restaurants — more than half on Maui alone — have made a list of 100 top restaurants for outdoor dining, according to OpenTable.

Nine of the Hawaii restaurants that are among the 2012 Diners’ Choice Award winners for the top 100 U.S. restaurants for outdoor dining are on Maui, while three are on the Big Island and two each are on Kauai and Oahu, OpenTable (Nasdaq: OPEN) said in a statement.

The list was compiled from the combined opinions of nearly 5 million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 restaurants in the United States.

California had the most with 36 restaurants, followed by Florida with 30 and Hawaii with 16, OpenTable said.

Here is the list of Hawaii restaurants on the list:
